The Crew in Action

Amazing edit (our favorite!) of a large white pine removal in Bridgton on highland lake. Demonstrates step-by-step process of ascending and removing a tree piece by piece in a very tight work zone.

Fun edit of a red oak removal between two houses in Naples, Maine. A very wide multi-leader tree that needed to be entirely rigged down in a small work zone.

Short promotional video briefly demonstrating the use of tree cabling to add structural support to weaker branch unions. A great alternative to removal, and a good way to mitigate risk with support systems.

Two red oak dismantles with some good music and in-tree shots of rigging techniques to safely remove these trees over a house in Lovell.

Short video of us “picking” a very large pine top from the backyard of this beautiful house on Moose Pond in Bridgton up and over the house. Access to the backyard was nearly nonexistent. The 90-ton crane made short work of this job.

Entertaining edit of a few different styles of rigging used on this very large pine tree completely hanging over a clients house in Denmark.

Short Promotional video about mitigating risk of trees and branches near your property.

Short video of Dan precisely cutting the top off this Huge white pine on Kezar lake in Lovell!

Fun slow-mo shot of this large dead pine tree we removed at the access road of a summer camp owned by the University of Maine. It exploded when it hit the ground!

We sent this Massive pine top from about half-way up the tree. A fun slow motion video!

Short video showing one of the many very cool tools we get to use. This demonstrates our pneumatic air launcher shooting a access line into a 135’ pine. We use this cannon when we desire to set a rope much higher than we could physically throw the line using normal techniques.

Drone footage of a very large quad-leader pine tree we removed to increase sunlight for a solar panel installation at a clients house in Denmark.

Short edit of a fir tree removal in Lovell. A good demonstration of proper felling technique here.

Quick shot of us utilizing felling support to prevent the “butt” from kicking toward a structure when it landed. The chain ensures that the tree stays in a location we choose in an effort to increase control in a situation where failure was not an option.

Cool perspective in this shot of a large top coming off this codominant pine tree on Kezar lake with not much room for error.

This pine in Lovell had been topped and brushed out. This short video is us felling the stem. Our aim was on point! The camera man got a little nervous as she came down though. We laid logs and brush down to protect the septic tank that was near-by the drop zone.

A good demonstration of the APTA (air powered tree access) cannon we utilize to set climbing lines as high as we can in trees that are taller than we can set lines using traditional techniques of throwline setting. Its basically a cooler potatoe cannon!

A short video showing the use of rigging to lower down a top out from over a clients house and powerlines. She was a little heavier than anticipated but the ground crew handled it with skill.

An older edit from 2015. Here we itilize a “speedline” rigging system to lower pieces in a controlled manner across a long distance to an area they will be more readily accessable for cleanup. This also drastically reduces ground disturbance in sensitive areas.

Quick video of Seth cutting a heavily leaning pine top and the ground crew lowering in out of the adjacent tree to prevent damaging other vegetation under it at the Rufus Porter Museum in downtown Bridgton.

This was our demo day at our home base in Lovell the day our brand new 2022 cmc 83’ spider lift was delivered. We got to fly it around for the first time!

Very quick shot of one of our climbers rigging a big pine top out from over a house on long lake in Bridgton. Taken from the vantage point of another climber in an adjacent tree.

Short promotional edit discussing options to mitigate risk from trees around your home.

Quick shot of the 83’ spider lift in action taking a branch off this white oak in Fryeburg we removed.

Cutting and lowering a pine top from one tree into another in this multi-tree removal job on Kezar Lake in Lovell

Glad we had the crane here for this one! There was basically zero drop zone with buildings, hardscape, powerlines, and leech field to work this dying multileader pine tree out on a beautiful property on Kezar lake in Lovell.

Short video showing the use of a “zipline” or “speedline” rigging system to lower branches off the pine tree before we top it and make it small enough to fell in the area we have to work with.

Cool shot showing in slow motion the “top-down” or “negative rigging” technique utilized to lower pieces from the stem of the tree in tight spaces. In this case directly over a house and power lines.

Fun little video of some pine trees dancing on a very windy day in Lovell

Here we are sending a 100’ top of a pine tree from maybe 40’ feet up. This was done to make the tree fit where it needed to go and avoid a powerline. It was also back leaning over a cabin and needed a pull line as we cut it to get it to go where it needed to.

Fun little edit from 2015 of some cool techniques we use in the winter to get some hard to access trees removed. Worth a watch!

Fun older edit of us dissecting a maple tree from the top down!

Old video from 2013 of a crane removal in Lovell. It was pretty windy that day!
