Back on the Job: Another Season of Tree Work Begins in Western Maine

After a little winter downtime, we’re officially back on the job! Boots on, saws tuned, gear checked, and crews ready for another busy season across Western Maine.

Winter gives us a chance to slow down, reset, and spend time with family. But it also reminds us why we love getting back out there. As the snow starts to recede and daylight stretches a little longer each week, it’s go-time again.

A Fresh Start (With Safety Front and Center)

Before the first job of the season, our focus is always the same: safety, preparation, and doing things the right way. That means reviewing procedures, inspecting equipment, refreshing training, and making sure everyone is dialed in before we head up a tree or bring heavy equipment on site.

Tree work is complex, technical, and sometimes dangerous which is exactly why experience, communication, and proper safety systems matter so much. Starting the season strong sets the tone for everything that follows.

Why Early Season Tree Work Matters

Late winter and early spring are some of the best times to address tree concerns before the growing season kicks in. Storm damage, hanging limbs, structural issues, and overgrown trees are easier to assess without full foliage. Taking care of them now can prevent bigger problems later.

It’s also a great time for:

  • Hazard tree evaluations

  • Pruning for structure and long-term health

  • Planning lot clearings or view enhancement projects

  • Getting on the schedule before peak season fills up

Back Where We Belong

There’s something special about being back out in the Maine woods, whether it’s working along a frozen shoreline, setting ropes high in the canopy, or watching the forest wake up after winter. This is why we do what we do.

We’re proud to serve homeowners, second-home owners, and communities throughout Lovell, Bridgton, Fryeburg, Denmark, Stoneham, Stow, Sweden, and beyond and we’re excited for what this season has in store.

If you’ve been meaning to take care of a tree concern, now’s a great time to reach out. We’re back, we’re ready, and we’re looking forward to another year of thoughtful, professional tree care.

Here’s to a safe, busy, and rewarding season ahead!
